I've following this thread and sorry but I don't see where you found out what the actual issue was.

The last changes made were adding EPP charge and cold pipes, replacing intake gaskets, and sent turbos back for another adjustment and retest. Oh well, glad it's over. Car feels strong again. Putting it up for sale in a couple days.

Thanks. But it seems like the bottom line is that the cause of no boost is unknown. I'm not poking you in the eye, I'm just trying to learn from your issue. Any final takeaways you want to share with this forum?

Yes.
1. When I replaced pulled the intake and ordered gaskets, the first time, only 2 came in the pack. I looked over the existing 4 gaskets and they 'looked' fine so I installed the two new ones and reused the 4 old ones. The 'whistle' sound along with the turbo 'wine' seemed to be similar to an intake leak. The logs I posted looked like I had pressure pre-throttle body, but none after, leading me to believe it was the intake gaskets. Take away: If you are gonna replace gaskets, replace them all while you are in there.
2. Although I tested the plastic charge pipes, I didn't test the cold side pipes since they shouldn't matter for pressure, but I guess there could have still been a leak somewhere. Take away: I would always recommend ditching the plastic when possible and especially when increasing pressure (boost).
3. Don't buy a Taurus, parts are getting slim and maintenance on them is getting high and more frequent. I can work on just about anything and have built several fast cars, but this was not a fun car to work on, then again, I'm getting older and slower working on a garage floor lol. This is not Ford's greatest build for power and reliability.

Did I mention my bluetooth is now out? APIM failure.

On to my next project.

You deleting the mufflers only? Or the third cat, resonator, and mufflers? Once you remove the stock resonator, drone.

If I was to do it again, I would cut the 3rd cat and resonator. Replace the mufflers with either stainless works or MRT and use the maganflow resonator x pipe.

I was thinking of cutting out my Flowmaster FX x2 with that resonator x pipe.

Give TurboBay a try. They only use housing all other parts are new. And they upgrade both turbine and compressor size. And with Jordans way he went with his last SHO, I'm going the same route and getting everything powder coated. And depending on tuned, example with me, I informed what turbos I was acquiring and he gave me advice on what miscellaneous things for them to do to make it easier to tune on his end.
How long did MATT take to ship Your custom Turbobay turbos ?
Has Me waiting 9 months now
