would be moresdfffn@studio460 A gearhead OA tune even on 91 is absolutely worth it.

And if you you want some 93 octane level performance you can always add in 2 gallons of E85 on a full tank.

Cool! Wasn't sure what the exact ratio was. You would think with a population of over 10 million in Los Angeles County, E85 would be more prevalent. Closest E85 station is in West L.A., about 40 minutes away in traffic. Oh well, at least I know I can get some octane-boosted performance if I really want it. Thanks!

We can only get 91 around here, too. I run a 91 octane tune and the difference is night and day vs. stock.

Wow—that's great news! Can't wait to get my AO-tune, then. Will wait until my exhaust is installed. Which tuner should I buy?

If you like real time data.....the LiveWire TS is the way to go.

Lol. You don't stand a chance against a Hellcat from a roll. A dig on the other hand......you have better chances.

Agreed. Also, a Hellcat and a Scat Pack are two different animals. You would not be able to back those claims.

Thanks, guys! SCT Livewire TS+ Performance Programmer ($599) it is! Pretty fancy looking—this costs as much as my original SCT Pro Tuner I bought 20 years ago. Do you all keep it plugged in all the time? I currently have a Verizon Hum WiFi hotspot, permanently plugged into my OBD-port. I suppose I could get an OBD-splitter, but that port is already kind of in the way.

Also, what do you guys think about the SCT 50-state legal Burst Throttle Booster—worth getting also? Plus, all of you with custom-tunes do you all get 170° stats and colder plugs (keeping in mind I only have 91-octane fuel available to me).

How/where did you mount it—any photos? I also used to keep my OBD-reader plugged into my Marauder but didn't have a good mounting solution.

I have mine mounted in the lower L corner.
That's where I put my Uniden police scanner. I had the first version that came with a molded suction-mount. I just got the new Uniden Home Patrol II APCO25 Phase II scanner (same form-factor), but I lost my old suction-mount and Uniden no longer makes it. It's a very nice scanner if anyone's interested.

You can also get a GPS antenna so that if you drive, say, across country, it will automatically tune to the local agencies. My local city has gone encrypted, but LAPD, CHP, and Sheriffs are still scannable as long as you have an APCO25 II digital scanner.
