And the difference in mods between the two dyno's was what?

The dyno you posted was with a SHOsouce equal length y pipe. Stock air box.

The last dyno had a different intake and true duals 2.25" pipe.

Both were dynojets and in similar weather conditions. (room temp)

If you compare the two sheets, the first one I was making 235hp at 7200rpm, The second sheet im making around 220 @ 7200rpm

Your peak horsepower stayed the same and you ran your fastest traps and times after well after this dyno. If your car is actually pulling timing, it's probably not enough to make hardly any difference, as it is well after you make peak horsepower. For all you know the difference in power at the two RPM's is a result from your additional mods.

If you think all those little dips in the top end is timing getting cut you would be so retard that the car wouldn't run. :)

Im just going based off what the tuner said. And it would make sense now that I have seen the heads. But thank you

The car can only pull a maximum of 8 degrees of timing. It'd still run. I'm not convinced that whatever you ingested in the engine is causing detonation. I wouldn't be surprised if whatever caused that damage loosen up some clearances causing noise.

Was this repeatable? Any actual sing of detonation? I know you were untuned. With what you've done to the motor, there's no garuntee every pull is knock free.

Yeah its not going to be repeatable. I think I may have posted a video of the ping but I am 100% sure I made a thread about it. This motor is forever retired. The block is going to scrap, heads are going to scrap. Im starting with a fresh block, sparkling clean heads. I should have the block and heads in my procession within a 2 weeks. Ill get the heads fully built first while I save up for the bottom end.

It is the "squish" area that took the beating. Edges of the valves look OK.
Something solid got in there, something like the end of a spark-plug, or something else that could slip past the valves (but unlikely). Maybe something got accidently installed during a plug change.... easy to do with the plug way down in that plug well.
