I will soon need to replace my battery, and was thinking of using an AGM such as the Odyssey. I'm aware that some of the settings should be changed for the AGM type battery. Can these changes be made in Forscan, and which fields need to be changed? I have the 'As Built' data for the SHO, just need to know what blocks to change and what to write.

I switched mine over to an AGM a while back and used Forscan to update the BCM settings. Definitely worth doing so the charging strategy matches the battery type better. From what I remember, the main things to change are the battery type from flooded to AGM and sometimes the battery capacity/amp-hour value depending on which battery you install. I’d strongly recommend saving your original As-Built before touching anything though.
On most of these Fords, the changes are usually under the BCM/BdyCM configuration rather than PCM. Forscan’s plain-English configuration menu is a lot easier than manually editing raw As-Built hex blocks if your version supports it. After changing it, I also reset the BMS so the car relearns the new battery properly. My charging behavior smoothed out noticeably afterward.
