Well, it could be worse?!? The other day the bearing on my P/S idler/tensioner gernaded and shreaded the belt! Anyone now a part # for the powersteering idler/tensioner pully on a 92 mtx? I've looked at Rockauto, AZ, XL, etc and nothing close!

If you can get me the diameter of the pulley I can get something matched up because there is no listing for it. You can also try the junk yard.

The bearing is not available at any parts stores in the US. It is a proprietary design.

PM sent on additional information.

I saved this solution from an April 18,2004 post. YMMV.

"Believe it or not Yamaha has a single row bearing that has the exact ID and OD (20X37 X15). The part is a bearing for the front wheel (obviously two) for a 2003 YZ250F. After bearing searches I've come up empty and the stock bearing with pulley and adjuster costs around $160. The Yamaha bearings are $10 each so $20 per adjuster. I stacked them, they are a little wider than stock at 9mm each for a total of 18mm in width so I pressed them in watching the engine side to get that side exact for pulley and belt alignment. It bolted up with the original bolt just fine. "

If you want to search for a new one, the Ford part # is E9DZ6B217B

Unless you find a dealer with one sitting un-inventoried on their back shelf, you're not going to find one. Both idler pulley assemblies were discontinued years ago.

Oh, and the Ford part number has been changed to:
