Serpentine Tensioner USED (93-95) ATX
The ATX serpentine tensioner does not fail often but when it does it causes a lot of problems. Since new factory tensioners are no longer available, we have found good used tensioners so you can keep your SHO on the road. Pulley is only shown for clarity and is not included. Idler or Tensioner Pulley (Rebuilt) w/ NEW Bearing - 3.2L ATX (93-95)
As our cars age, the tensioner bearings for the accessory belts wear out. Usually, worn bearings appear as a grinding or squealing noise, but occasionally the bearings will just seize. This is the correct bearing for the upper idler pulley or tensioner pulley for the 3.2L V6 93-95 ATX SHO...shosource.com
or you could post in the want to buy section to see if anyone has one for sale
You don`t get these brand new? unless you can find them
You might find someone selling a new part, but they are probably resellers selling old dealership parts. These cars are older so finding parts is getting more difficult, at least SHO source still provides options. You don`t get these brand new?
I don't know where you are getting your information, but the tensioner for the ATX was never superceded. It was only used for three years. There was no reason to supercede it.Ok seems to me like i found the correct part number which is F3DZ-6B209-A but that number is superseded YF1Z-6B209-AA. So i bought belt tensioner with YF1Z-6B209-AA part number through eBay. I will let you know once i get the item if it fits or not.
Crap, seems to me like i was mislead when i searched for F3DZ-6B209-A online then. Can`t any other tensioners be used, albeit with a slight modification? From the pics it seems like YF1Z-6B209-AA are similar to original.I don't know where you are getting your information, but the tensioner for the ATX was never superceded. The correct part number was F3DZ-6B209-A but it's been obsolete for a long time.
The 3.0 Vulcan uses the YF1Z-6B209-AA which was superceded from F3DZ-6B209-"C"
