Wiseco pistons, SHONUT Performance and Wright Built bring you the Forged 93mm (3.3) 12.5:1 piston.

I will clay them but like Jason said. I have a lot of faith in Josh. We spent 2 months just getting everything where i wanted it. Im glad he had the paitence cause the pistons got changed a good 2-3 times

Props to ya for hanging tough on this SHO project. This one is going to be a beast. Regarding the block design discussion from page 3 or 4: the 3.2L block has extra webbing around the base so its technically a stronger design, overall, than even a 3.0L of the same year. I applaud you for cutting through the BS then succeeding with your goal of creating the fastest NA SHO in history.

Small update on the car and the build.

Found out Wiseco messed up the order on the pistons and gave me pistons with a 21mm wrist pin for KOA rods so I had to find some KOA rods to replace my KOB rods.

Then today I decided to pull some weight out of the blue car and install some shifter parts.

Aluminum shifter bushings next to the old garbage bushing.

I know the motor will be interference motor.

Why? Is it because of your specific piston design? I though that the HC pistons that Josh sold were designed so that it is non-interference, even with the more aggressive cams. Did I miss something?

To get a 12.5:1 piston they have to be interference. Too much piston dome.

So a little update.

Me working 50-60 hours a week I have little to no free time. So I enlisted the help of one of the biggest names in sport compact drag racing to help build this motor.

Jeremy Allen of Allen Built Race Engines and InlinePRO will be assembling my short black. I dropped off the block and rotating assembly yesterday in Springfield Virginia.

I trust Jeremy to do a great job and he has the records to prove it.
The most known Tim Grey's AM street Civic. One of the very few all motor 9 second fwd cars.

So the build is underway. Hopefully by July she will be in the car and ready to be tuned.
