Waffles, every time i see your screen name, i think "***********" grosses me out every time.

Had to do a little bit of googleing, and see a lot of shit I wish I didn't see to understand what a "***********" was...Thank you for stealing my innocence...:shappens:

So that block and heads are faster than the ones you took out?

Well yes and no. My original block was scored, and gouged and toast. the heads were also gouged and also filled with about 20 helicoils. But these heads are going to be milled .010, bowls blended, throat narrowed and bladed, and walls worked.

The Block is still up in the air. Working with Josh to get the pistons made but I cant get anything done until I mic this block since it has been honed. If it comes out that the block has been honed .002 then I will keep my 92mm bore. If it has been over honed then I will order my pistons and have the machine shop punch out the block to a 93mm.

The pistons will be Wiseco Forged 12.5:1, 22mm pin, KOB rods, HD skirts

Cant mic the bores until my cylinder bore micrometer gets here, ordered it today.

SO I was fortunate today to be able to sit down with Justin Shubert a BIG name in the Toyota 4ag game. He does head work professionally for the Yamaha made 4AG motors which have heads very similar to the SHO motor. He taught me quite bit today and then set me loose on my heads. THEY CAME OUT GREAT!

Got down there and he pointing out the defects in the head, first big thing was the valve seat. The valve seat was not recessed below the combustion chamber and actually had a raised lip which in the high compression motor would of for sure could of caused preignition.

Spent this morning finishing up the other head. Heads are done, ready to be milled and hot tanked and reassembled.

Figured you guys might enjoy the sexyness.

Do you have access to a flow bench at work? You could do before and after flows to see how much the headwork adds to the capabilities. Anyone have numbers for the flow rate of a stock head? It has probably been charted somewhere, by now.
Nice work, and it would be nice to see how much it improves the situation.
