I need some help!

Does anyone know the correct part # for a replacement bearing for the lower Ilder pulley on a '93 3.2L?

I've tried searching on here, but couldn't come up w/ squat, so I tried at advanced Auto, and the only thing they had was to big... They suggested I try napa, b/c they claimed that they have a larger index of books to look from. I'll be heading there tomorrow afternoon to go look... So if anyone know's the part # for a replacement bearing for a lower idler pulley on a 93 3.2l, could you pleeeeeeaaasseeee help??????????

Thanks all!

The only way you will get that pulley is from a parts car, or Ford. I don't have the part number but last time I looked you could still get them from FPN (one of our sponsors).

It will run you around $100 for a new one. If you post in the want-to-buy section you can prolly get a used one cheaper.

I have a used one if you want it. Shoot me a PM if so...

The bearing is an NSK and the bearing number is BD 20 15 DWA. The bearing is proprietary and is not sold as a separate item. The bearing is also an odd size, that is it is not a standard sized bearing (like the rest of the world).

You could have the pulley machined to fit a Timkin bearing (Timkin makes a standard bearing very close to the size of the NSK).

Then you would be able to change the bearing any time you needed to. Or, as suggested above you can buy a new pulley and bearing from a Ford dealership, or a Ford parts dealer. rangerj

You can always just get another idler pulley off of some other vehicle that has the same dimensions in the critical areas. Bolt hole diameter, bearing rub surface. My buddy Paul is running some pullies off of a big @ss International truck on his turbo charged 3.2 SHO buggy.

only place I could find the part was from ford. I would get the number for you but the sales slip is in the car in another location but it cost near $100 I think a closer guess would be $94
