Hello SHO Forum!
New member from central Iowa.

Looking for help on 93-95 SHO 3.2 engine wire harness. Ford dealer is telling me the part number for a 3.2 / automatic is F3DZ-12A581-L. That number comes up NO WHERE but F3DZ-12A581-G does. Wonder if anyone on here can confirm what the right part number might be.

I have a 3.2 motor and wanting to stab it into a Ranger and the project is on hold until I am confident on the wiring.

If you are referring to the harness that runs along the back side of the engine to the PCM (highlighted purple) then that is the correct number for a 93 ATX 3.2. It changes to F4DZ-B in 94 and F5DZ-H in 95. These are coming directly from the Ford parts catalog.

Chad thank you for the reply. I can't find the "L" anywhere and was wondering if a "G" would work knowing some of the connections may be off.

I have no idea. You'd have to trace the pins at the PCM connection and see what each of the possible 60 wires do and where they go. Connectors could be the wrong shape. Could be the wrong gender. Might not be long enough to go where they need to. Too many what ifs.

I can tell you from painful experience back in the day that there are significant differences in the engine wiring harness between 93 and 94 and 95. Most of them relate to the change from R12 to R134 and the pinouts of the abs system, but its been long enough that I don't remember all the others.
