I have a few questions for the SHO pros in the forum:
When setting up the timing on my V8, where does the "missing tooth" on the CKP wheel face? it apears that it can go on two different directions, assuming that "front" means that when I put it on I can read the word "front."
I assume that "cam welding" is done to stop the cam gear from spinning loose
on the camshaft? is that correct?
If one cam goes bad because of the gear spinning loose, can that cam be welded up and work? if so, how do you determine where to weld it on the camshaft?
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance, M.tischer, MN
