congratulations Zach ...... long time coming .... recall my first start up on my rebuild of my 90 sho ..... after the first 10 seconds it calmed down and has ran great since
Alight, Worked out a lot of bugs over the weekend, fixed the cam chain tensioner, found out the exhaust cams were off a couple teeth, found a couple vacuum leaks. Got the Wideband hooked up, gauges working, fired her up and she sounds MEAN.
I like this guy.... You know for many years I have been looked upon as a mooron to put sooooo much money into a Taurus GL and I think all accusers are all correct - I have removed myself from the forum the last couple years - SHOcal, ShoForum and the Taurus forums because I wanted to build my Taurus in peace - I love my Taurus and it sounds like this guy does too... - no matter whether the money spent would buy an EVO XIIII or a WRX STI he is building what he wants... I like this guys spirit... I will never have a 12 second GL but since it is not my daily driver I get to spend 2-3 thousand dollars a year on her and she does not disappoint at car shows - She is always the only Taurus at the show and with coilovers, and all the SHO goodies she is respectable.
I hope this guys built SHO runs serious numbers and he enjoys it like I enjoy my GL-R
