Start hoarding transaxles. Between the Lemons crews and Zach, MTX-IV's are going to start being worth some big money.
I figured 12:1 is still streetable with a 93/100 octane mix. But its either keep it streetable or take it off the streets completely and go just full retard with 14:1 compression and c16 in the tank.
If you are gonna be into it that far, why not do a 3.4 setup like John Hrinsin did with his '95?? I can't remember his Forum name, but I could give you his email in a PM if you are interested.
I drove his car at Gingerman a few years ago (now owned by Jim Heaton in Houston). IMO, his was the "best" n/a SHO I ever drove. Responded like a stock SHO, but with MORE.......
I dont want to go 10.6:1 everyone else has gone 10.6:1. Thats not really that high of compression and wont show much gain for 850$. And if i was to go 10.6:1 its going to cost the same as going 12:1. 132$ a piston. So with that being said i can only really save money if i kept the 92mm bore skipped the machining and just threw in some pistons. but i cant do that anymore unless i get another block now. so i might as well go 3.3. I need to do some research and expand my knowledge which im really looking forward to. This is less of a plain out horsepower build and more of a assemble my first motor and learn.
This car has done nothing but teach me things and i want to expand that even more.
Its not being the fastest or winning races or any of that that pushes me to spend the money. The quarter mile times, and all that is just a bonus. The reward is definitly the knowledge that i gained to put me where i am.
You have to understand ghost 3.0 blocks are not the same. you can bore a 3.0 to a 3.2, but IIRC you cant bore a 3.0 to a 3.3. you have to have a 3.2 block to have a 93mm bore.
Not true.

Wiseco forged pistons, pins, XX rings, 93 mm bore (3.3L), 22 mm (ATX) pin, 10.6:1 compression ratio, lightweight, requires 1993-1995 block
Just speaking from what I have read. I may be wrong.
A 93-95 3.0 will work.
