Whistle

I've heard this for a long time, and I like it. What is the whine or whistle like sound that lasts about 1 second after I hit the clutch to shift? Is that because of the silencer cone being out? Thanks!

I don't think so, when i removed my silencer cone, i didn't get anything like you are describeing.

I think that the whistle that you are talking about are the synchros in the tranny trying to match the gear speeds. Just a guess though.
