Where to get rebuild parts????

I'm trying to get everything laid out so that I know exactly what my upcoming rebuild will cost me and get all the needed parts in order. I've found all the gaskets I'll need, but no place I look seems to have access to bearings or rings. They must be different than most 182cid Ford V6 parts (despite having the same bore and stroke)?

NAPA or RockAuto.com both carry bearings, rings, etc.

X2 always had good luck with them, everything from piston rings to main bearings to gaskets and sensors. maybe a couple missing odds and ends but more or less everything you'd need for a rebuild is there.

EDIT: regarding the post below me, its been awhile since ive ordered, before RCM became a sponsor, its also been awhile since ive been in the better business section. Definitely check that out.

Umm, not so much.

MerkXRTurbo, please check the Hall of Fame/Shame section for all the ripoff and slow shipment/communication reports regarding RCM before you consider spending any money with them.

I would have thought when they became a forum sponsor they would have improved, but instead it seems like they're getting worse. :shakehead

There's almost nothing that RCM sells that you can't buy at NAPA for the same price or cheaper, including the parts you're asking about.

I'm not sure why RockAuto isn't showing bearings and rings in their catalog, I ordered some rod bearings from them a few weeks back. I wonder if they're updating the catalog or something. Hmmmm...
