I called my local guy here that was able to get me the upper gaskets and rod bearings when no one else could but he cant get me the oil pan gasket. He said it looked like a dealer only item. Sooo I called Ford and they said 24.22 each and there are two pieces. He said a left and right side. First off why are there two seperate parts? Why would someone replace half the gasket? And lastly. Is there a Felpro number for this gasket set that my parts guys just are not finding? I am planning on doing the rod bearings this week but cant very well do it without the gaskets.

Yes, 2 separate parts, Engine Front (by crank dampener) and engine rear (by flywheel).

Fel-Pro does have an oil pan gasket set, it is NOT a dealer-only item. Fel-Pro's number is OS30636R from Autozone (autozone.com, etc.) for about $17. You will want a larger tube of RTV (Ultra Gray Permatex / Sensor Safe will do nicely). The RTV goes down the long sides of the pan, the rubber seals go on the ends. This is actually not that uncommon, instead of the old cork gaskets.

For Reference, the Ford parts are E9DZ-6722-A & E9DZ-6723-A, old prices were about $13.50 each.
