I'd lean more towards high 14s, since a SHO doesn't really start to shine till midway through 3rd, and in most cases, 3rd gear's barely used in the 1/8th.

Back in Michigan ... again.
My 89 posted nearly identical numbers to Sam, 9.5 @ 75 mph, in the 1/8, 14.74 @ 96 in the 1/4.

Any SHO reaching sub 10 seconds in the 1/8 with a trap over 70 IMO is a healthy running car.

I think it was a 9.3 in the 1/8" when I ran in my best 1/4" but I don't think the trap was working at the 1/8th.

I think my ATX would run consistent 10.2's with the acasional 10.1. I want to say the trap was 66-68mph that was a long time ago though so I could be wrong.

I ran 9.6-9.7 on cold days with my old engine which equated to 14.8-14.9. The traps were 73-75 mph.

With the new engine on a not as cold day I ran 9.7-9.8 on a few of the better runs with a best time of 15.0 and a bunch of 15.1's. Mods at the time were K&N panel filter, removed saxacone, no kitties, no resonator, stock mufflers, carbon fiber hood, nearly full tank of 6 month old 87 octane gas and a NESHO tune.
