Looking for your opinions on the following please...

What sensors/items would you like to monitor (beyond what the vehicle already offers)? A/F ratio? Tranny temp? Engine oil temp? Engine oil pressure? Boost? Exhaust temp? Intake air temp? What would be your top two or three to monitor?

What gauge manufacturer would you recommend for individual type gauges? Or what would you recommend if you went with an all-in-one electronic type that can monitor several different sensors/items?

(Sorry cross-posted this on a Flex forum as well.)

Where would you mount these on the Flex?

Please don't turn this thread into a "you shouldn't mod you Flex," or a "why would you mod your Flex," or a "why did you buy a Flex if you wanted to mod a vehicle," or a "if you mod your Flex you will void your warranty" type of discussion.

Thanks in advance!

For sure a AF and a boost gage to start with. Oil temp if you track the vehicle.

Apparently Fishrising and EcoBrick Bob's path have yet to cross.

JEEZ.... Ben & I have been PMing etc... I am the guy with the 13.521 @ 101+ (on a slow night at a normally SLOW track.... Cedar Falls Raceway, Cedar Falls, IA.

Bricks....can be ....QUICK!

In fact... on my last run, lost to a friend who ran a 13.454 in his Modded 09' G8 GT that has headers, No Cats, Vararam, & tuned ECM & TCM, by only .15 seconds. G8 weighed about 800 lbs less, and this was his best run of the night. Another friend with a Charger SRT8 could only get a 13.3. Has run as low as 12.8 at same venue. Was 75 deg. & rained just after our last run.

Since I have a 08'G8 GT with Kook's headers, CAI, Catsback w/H-pipe, Ported Intake & throttle body, under drive pulley, and great tune, - here in FL, will be testing both it & Brick this winter to see which is fastest!:woo-hoo::woo-hoo::dribble::dribble:

I've had pretty good luck with the Kiwi WiFi OBD II interface and REV on an iTouch for displaying the normal OBD II data on gauges in real time (intake temp, boost, timing advance...etc).

It's better with a sideways mount and in locked mode.
