Well, after almost a year of weekend work, I finally feel confident enough to take the black SHO out for an AutoX event. What I've done to it so far:
-Intrax/Sensatracs
-New Strut Rod Bushing (frt and rear)
-New AL SFB's
-New swaybar links and bushings
-CPS and crank seal replaced.
I'm also planning on new tires as soon as money allows, thinking Hankook RS3's or Potenza's. Wheel is a 17x7 if anyone has any other suggestions.
My question is, what should I do next? I've been looking into making my own sub frame connectors because I own a welder, but don't really know where to start. Also been looking at changing the front swaybar to a 20.6 from the current 24mm to prevent it from pushing in corners, although some of that may clear up with better tires.
How much would strut tower braces and an H brace stiffen the chassis?
Basically just talk chassis stiffening, if you were going to Auto X it.
