hahahahahaha

naw, it was a SHO meet but only by default, no snub intended. the whole point of the trip was to get my car down to Va Beach so J & M Motorsports could have my car for a week . getting a bunch of stuff done, can't wait.

****, it can't classify as a SHO meet until Andi has her two tone SHO painted, and I have mine thoroughly waxed. btw have you tried the clay bar treatment Curt? thats on my agenda before the PA trip.

at any rate, I hope to get some new pics added to CD soon enough. this having to do work at my desk thing really gets in the way of the fun though:type:

SHO meet and VIR issues

We would have to put some serious # of cars on the road to get VIR to bite i think. Still, might be possible. Need to organize locally first.

Speaking of such things, Looking as if meet in Chapel Hill this weekend will be postponed till Sept due to multiple schedule conflicts, no joy. Never say die, however.

Will be in the home garage shop Saturday working on 60K and will entertain anyone who is local or who wants to stop by and chat.

Best regards to everyone,
JD

I used the clay bar a couple of months ago when I had all the extra time while on medical leave. Didn't get a whole lot of stuff off the paint. I guess my finish was pretty clean to begin with. Hey, I'm really looking forward to Carlilse. Did some detailing under the hood yesterday. Used some PlastX on the vanity cover and it looks like new! Won't be getting too much done after this week since I'm going a Carribean cruise for a week & then it's off to Carlilse!

Hey, that's great, Ashley. You can register up until the event, but do it as soon as possible because we are only about five participants away from getting a free tent on the showfield. Look under the link on the LSHOC thread to get more info. Also, your biggest challenge will be getting a hotel reservation that weekend. Again, the link to the hotel is also there. The SHO contingent is staying at the Comfort Inn on Carlilse Pike. Also, Chris Farmer & I are driving up Friday 6/1, probably mid-morning, so if you & Paul want to link up with us for the drive, let me know.
