I have a wierd ABS issue on my 91. This does not happen all time but frequently. At times when I attempt to stop during normal braking the ABS will kick in and force the pedal back up vibrate and the motor will want to stall. It almost as if you did not push the clutch in and brake to a stop.

However the clutch is in all the way and when the ABS kicks in the RPM will drop to around 300 to 400 then when the ABS kicks off about 1 - 2 seconds later the RPM will shoot up to about 1500 then drop and rise a couple of times and smooth out.

Anyone ever have this issue or might know what to check. There are no engine codes and ABS light does not come on. The ABS light does work.

Does your ABS Light Come on? If so check out the thread 3rd from the top pulling antilock codes. This thread will tell you how to jump your abs test connection to get your ABS codes. I had a similar problem as you with my SHO, it would push back and vibrate 1 to2 second while driving. It turn out to be one of my ABS sensors. All I had to do was clean the sensor. I used brake cleaner and a toothbrush and presto, the fault was gone. I did not even take the sensor off the car.
