Yesterday, my son and I replaced the brake fluid. I bled the brakes until nice clear fluid was flowing. I think there is air in the ABS pump because driving the car around, the brakes felt a little soft at times and I would hear a popping like sound coming from up front like the ABS pump was trying to cycle or something. I tried slamming on the brakes several times to get the pump to cycle but was unsuccessful. The ABS light is not on by the way. Does anyone have any tricks as to cycle the ABS pump without a special scanner? I may end up having to take the car somewhere to have the brakes bled again.
