As far as the trans fluid goes you need to monitor the fluid level and get it very hot and check it at 204*F. Youll need an advanced scan tool or datalog with your tuning device on a laptop to monitor transmission fluid temps.

Understood. I’ll do that after I change my trans fluid soon. Just finished a drive, didn’t miss second at all. Still seems to shift pretty firm. Hopefully it resolves after a drain and fill.

Well, I did a fluid drain and fill. Five in five out. Fluid was pretty brown, lighter than any of the times I’d changed before. Considerable metal pieces. 7798ab29e3ad1b8dbe7c7ddc7d367d06

If you take to a shop, make sure you flash it back to stock tune.

Well, seem to have figured it out. Ended up going for a longer drive and doing a few pulls and it shifted perfectly. Thinking it was trans fluid temp, as all of the miss shifts were after I had reached operating temp but not long enough to warm up the transmission. I still need to send data logs to Matt so he can confirm but it’s looking good. On a similar note, wheel hop is now an issue. Is there any way I can get AD transmission mounts or am I out of luck? Any other brands/people who make upgraded ones?

Continuing these issues. Shifting smoothed out over the next 100 miles. I’ve tried maybe 3-4 hard pulls from a standstill, none brake boosted. Twice I’ve missed 2nd, then shifted to 3rd and let off the throttle. One other time it grabbed, not on full throttle. Pretty bad shudder. I emailed Matt and he said to make sure I was half a qt above full of trans fluid at hot idle. I obliged and have yet to take off from a stand still, but from a roll it has gotten better, it will catch and shift hard but not shudder, or it will miss. Everything else shifts perfect. Should I try a fluid drain and fill? Trans parts wearing down? I’m at 120k, I’ve drained and filled the fluid 3 times since I got it at 96k. Changed at 100k, 105k, and 110k. No issues on the stock tune. Any input would be amazing.

Are you positive it shudder and not wheel hop. They feel similar.

It is usually shudder, I’ll sometimes wheel hop depending on where I am and the condition of the road. It seems to have gone away, if I’m going up an incline or the road is not great (Michigan roads) it will shudder slightly. Way more mild than before.
