If I remember correctly, you only need 1 Admin key to disable MyKey. So, if you bought the Dorman product above, you could use that to disable MyKey. I believe it can be done with ForScan as well.

Not true. A Ford MECHANIC would say that because that is where they work and going by the book with the proper tools. However, the Dorman product works great. I have used it on 2 vehicles. I also had a friend get the Hyundai version for their SUV and it worked great.

Most hardware shops and locksmiths can cut the key if you want the emergency key.
@TheOGScooby other items to know. Might want to have a propane torch - trick to removing rusted or very frozen exhaust nuts - heat up the exhaust with engine running, then get under and WD40 or other lubricant spray the nuts down and let soak. Turn engine off of course - the heat helps with the penetrating oil.
If you get a nut that wont break free - torch the nut, spray again and dont wait try and back it off. Usually breaks free after a good torching. Get the O2 sensors off and out of the way - and label them. The wires are different colors - but label them. Upstream ones are wideband, downstream are not. ALSO wear nitrile gloves when wrapping, those two rolls come with stainless steel ties. The ties are razor sharp and the fiberlass will get you nice and itchy. Long sleeves when handling wrap and gloves.

Anyone tried this key on a 2010-2012? Dorman doesn't show this one working for my model and the one they suggest is nothing like my key. This one is not exact, but more like it.
I swear 2010-2012 are the red headed step child of the SHO's, lol.

First time I had to use the spare tire. Luckily I made it to a mostly open parking lot so it didn't take long to swap out. Tonight.....we plug!

If you have one in your area try Batteries Plus they can reprogram keys and also check a local stereo shop.
I took the wrong fob set as valet and was stuck at 45mph for 20 minute drive.... ugh

So I didn't know I had the wrong fob, most of the residential speeds were under 35. I was going to an appt so I didn't want to be late. For someone who likes to get a breakaway from the pack moment...... I was soooooo ******. I think the car barks at you too which made me more mad. It was painful.

Today I changed the oil and cleaned the air filter. I started working from home about 4 or 5 months ago (with the exception of going into the office one week per month or so) and still can't get over how much more productive I am around the house.
I got home early from dropping the kids off at school so I decided to put the car on the ramps, drain the oil/dump the catch can, and clean the air filter. Then on my lunch break, I installed the new oil filter, topped off the oil, and sprayed / installed the air filter.
I even had enough time to whip out the pressure washer and clean up the kiddos go kart and fourwheeler.

Yes sir. This new job was a God send. I was so burned out at my old job and had been looking with no luck. I wanted out of customer service and into IT but had never held an IT "position". I just did my job plus whatever system stuff they needed.
One day I got an email (at work) from the head of the ERP system we had cancelled a year or two back asking me if I was interested. My interview was him telling me about the job over the phone and asking me if I was interested (we had worked together for 7+ years). I said "yes" and he said he'd email me a job offer by the end of the week. The offer was fair, the insurance is phenomenal (100% paid by the company for my family and I - Humana), and I was to meet him at my first customer's business in 2 weeks. After about 9 months in the customer's basement (it's a nice one), they realized I could do the job remotely. Now I just visit the customer every month or so and check into the corporate office from time to time. I'm growing a real beard for the first time in my life and most days I work in a T-shirt and gym shorts. Life is great!

@Joshw0000 glad to hear your life change. Out of bad sometimes comes good. Covid had sooooo many bad effects. Working from home was something I did before covid, just stay focused and prioritize work. Thankfully working from home was one great thing covid did accomplish. Glad to hear your success.
