Got the AO tune from GH and being as it's Friday took it to the track again. Before I was averaging solid 9s in the 8th. Had a PB of 8.6 tonight. Managed to whip up on a Stinger, although it was a RWD one. Trapping anywhere from 2-6 mph faster as well. All in all very happy with the results of the tune

Nothing SHO related but I did mechanic my ass off the last two days. Started with valve cover gaskets on my dads ‘03 ranger, followed by an oil change and rear axles. Talked him into Redline in the rear end. He said it’s never felt smoother or quieter. Another win for Redline lightweight shockproof.

Then, fresh sparks and oil in the 2.7 ecoboost Edge.

I've always had good luck using Redline L ube, so I decided my 100K F-150 needed the rear axle L ube changed. The manual said to use synthetic so I figured it was safe. Now after about a month, the pinion seal is wet. It's not leaking enough to drip but it is covering the front of the 3D member casting. It was bone dry before I changed the L ube.

Ever since replacing the shocks the car has had a pretty good vibration over 60mph, where you can feel it coming on bad. I saw when i replaced the rear shocks that one of the toe links had a torn joint boot and was collapsed over to the side. So i replaced it today with a moog one from Rockauto. I just matched the length the best i could.
Factory toe link was really bad, very loose for a ball joint. Torn and also was bent down. Not sure if the oem ones are kinked down but the moog one was straight. Non pp so no recalls on the toe links.

Well after driving it a bit. Vibration is still there. This is on the side that the rear shock blew and the rear tire is cupped. After looking at the tire more closely while doing the toe link I figured it would still shake and its the screwed up tire. I just didnt want the toe link to break while driving. But at least i watch nascar and seen how the professionals drive at high speed crab walking after bumping the wall.

So i need a new tire and that should fix that. Like its really bad, even worse with a good shock that is holding it down to the road. With the blown shock it didnt vibrate much because the tires just flopped around the way it wanted t. To make it seem like a balanced tire. Theres like 20 high spots on the center of the tread and like 20 flat spots on the inner tread.

Nothing else looked wore out under the rear anymore so ill change the tire here soon and go from there. Also it shakes my brake pads out of alignment lol. But hopefully its not as bad now with a new toe link for the meanwhile.

You will not be disappointed! Get your logs back to him asap!
Yeah, everyone here sold me.... countless people, not ever any people saying anything bad, time, I got time. My car has 27k miles for the last year.... I went back to the HP forums, my HP Tuner guy has been doing it for a while, however he only got into ecoboost when he got a EB Stang. He had been tuning other EBs before me with good feedback.

BUT Brad... the quality and quantity of us here, former and current - I had to. Ordering my 93 and Livewire TS. He told me he only does all platforms of EB... that's it.

Thanks all, will let know when I get everything. Also looking to make a intercooler sprayer while I wait for GH to restock. I pinged them a couple weeks back... they said no ETAs. Since they are the only direct fit cooler, I will wait.

Swapped out my cupped rear tire today. Tire had broken belts too. Would shake the whole car pretty bad above 65mph. Had it up to 60mph today with new tire and didnt feel it shake. Ill know later when i hop on the highway.

I installed H&R springs and pp shocks and struts on my non-pp sho yesterday. And it's a very solid firm ride. I have to get used to driving a lowered car again because while I was driving around, my rear tires scrapped the fender liner 2-3 times today. I love the way she sits now!6f1beb01eeef1561d83b62d4a2f2788832a7e36ff97cd4e1585a57aa9059e1a0082dfc8b2fc562f1179e20c3ed92336a

Looks good. She’ll soften up a bit after a few hundred miles. Outside of looks, the improvement in body roll alone makes it all worth it.

They are stock wheels from a Nissan GTR. Well, technically, I bought 2 rear sets of GTR wheels so that I could have a square setup of 10.5 all the way around.
