I was just talking with my wife on getting the little one one of those electric cars for her to start practicing on! I wouldn't be mad if she ended up getting into racing.

My daughter is a daredevil. At 2 she takes her Lil Tykes push car and puts it at the top of our driveway and rides it down into the garage. I usually stop her but last weekend we got a new mattress so I sat it up as a backstop and let her drive into it.

I've got videos of my girls (18 months apart) around ages 2-4 in one of those plastic cars with the push handle for the adult. They would take turns riding as I pushed them through the house as fast as I could popping wheelies and sliding corners. They would both cackle . At one point they got tired of taking turns so they both piled in. It's a one seater.

So, I'm almost done reinstalling the the radiator and new intercooler.

My 2 condenser bolts seem to go nowhere when I try to screw them in. Like, they don't bottom out in their holes, and they don't thread into anything. I don't see how anything could be out of alignment too far. The radiator supports are in their holes correctly.

Did I make a mistake by transferring the foam insulation from around the old intercooler to the new one? The inlet and outlet look like the same size and the new IC has the same brackets to hold the foam, so I expected the foam pieces would still fit. Getting the condenser back on was a very tight fit on the brackets of the IC,

I'm a little stumped, and stepping away from it for a few minutes. But I'm almost done. Could use some good advice here.

I made a comfort addition....took some foam padding, glued it into a block and covered it with koban (horse leg bandage) now it's much more comfy driving longer distances. Keeps my arm from as high as my head. Lol.

Did you make sure the radiator was in the bottom all the way before you bolted it down?

I think I found the problem. The old IC has metal clips for threading the bolts into.

I guess those need to be transferred to the new IC. Shit.

Okay here's a question for all you gear heads that are rebuilding Engines. What can I do when rebuilding an engine to get more horsepower out of it? the guy at one shop can shave the heads or something for more compression? can you guys give me some ideas so what he can do..

Get rid of any rough castings with some porting
