Oh and I tossed it on the lift, changed the belt, looked at an oil leak, possibly front main, and stared at my new pry on the bench and said "maybe another day"

Hope to get alignment to fix a rear tire whine, possibly front struts, it'll help me decide if I have a 6th gear shudder under load, but I dont think it's the trans, probably road feels

Time to do spark plugs soon, ones i have in have maybe over 100k on them tuned the whole time. I ran Brisk for a couple years but had alot of issues so put the Motorcraft sp534 back in a few years ago gap at .028. I see rockauto has sp580 and 580x. Im staying with motorcraft, they are reliable for stomping it. The new part numbers working ok for others?

Weren't the SP580’s the stock plug? The heat range cooler SP542’s were superseded by M-12405-35T
Eh beats me anymore. I have too many Fords so i dont know what goes to what anymore. I did find a picture with sp-580 spark plugs. So i guess that whats in the 2015 sho. Maybe the other number is what i put in the 1990 sho last time.

Edit: I found my older set of sp-534, they were the factory spark plugs in my 2015 sho when i bought it. Running colder plugs i kept having issues with the ceramic breaking with motorcraft and then with Brisk. Ran a couple different brisk part numbers and they would break at WOT same as the motorcrafts. Factory sp-580 i guess is what is in now and they have been fine. IMG 2890

I like that number. My Focus ST just went over 200k.
Wow she’s getting up there.

I’m also not convinced the pump is leaking. Cleaned up the spot and haven't seen more evidence, or lost anymore coolant. Been driving all summer.

Troubling part is, if it isn’t, where did it go? Do get a slight whiff from time to time. Like through the vent.

Oh! She also got new glass yesterday. Since someone got like 12 chips. ;)
One finally decided to spread its wings.

Honestly. I think it was residual from the leaking top hose that had the plastic junction that cracked. I thought the same thing, until I saw that junction leaking. I cleaned the bottom as best as I could, but I wonder if coolant was pooled on the top and over time leaked down and that is what you saw.

As long as there isn't coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant, full send that shit.

Yeah.......windshield chips are just a way of life here in AZ. It is really frustrating honestly.

Can relate lol, at least our glass deductibles are free , too bad it’s always the cheapest glass possible. Between the dust storms and having to drive the busy interstates to get anywhere it’s so hard to keep things clean and nice.

Excuse me but, Boohoo!!!! Have you ever seen the bottom, or wheel wells for that matter from a rust belt car. I don’t want to hear about some rock chips.

All joking aside, you don’t realize how good you have it. Sand and dust?? Try salt and mill debris mixed with rain that etches your paint.
