Got the car aligned yesterday. So they found steering rack bolts loose!?!?!? Thanks a lot Na*** Automotive who aligned it last year. It did seem a bit finicky....and with getting it out of whack with everything I did really brought that fact to light.....well now my steering rack is tight again!!!!!! Alignment is Gucci.
On the way home ...still on my 16 psi (see what this does with your new mods) tune file from Brad who still hasn't given me any feedback...I desided to romp on it when I saw a sweet 370Z driving. He was cruising, I caught up to him, did some cruising next to each other, I pulled in front of him...did a 45-100 pull and wow does she move out! I had to hit the brakes pretty good and was able to make the next green light and don't I see the 370Z making his way towards me ...from way back. He pulls up next to me at the next red light, double lane left hand turn only and I see hes telling me to roll my window down. He says, "That car is ******* sick! You just shot flames like this big (motioning with his hands about a foot) out of your exhaust"! I was like really???????? Yeah!!!! But boy was his car mean as **** too, all black, clean, slammed, big old wide wheels and gloss black, deep dish, aero kit of some sort. I was like your car is sick man! He gave me the website of some cool lug nuts he had on his...I'm going to order them LOL! I was like man I just got it back on the road, still need to dial it in...he was like its sick man!
So my buddy had brought me to my car and followed me home, I left my truck at his house. I get in. I'm like dude said I spit flames? He said, "Dude you did. Your car looked like you kicked a dog in the ass. It just squated down and looked like it stayed that way! When you floor it it backfired and smoke and flame came out of it. The car next to you put their hands up...I think you scared them".
I mean I was driving...so didn't see it. But to hear what that 370Z owner said and my buddy......made me a real proud SHO owner
Love the story but doesn't flames coming out the exhaust mean you have unburnt fuel coming out, therefore running rich?
Yeah I would say so. First tune revision for all my mods including upgrading both fuel pumps. Probably shouldn't be romping on it. I really wish I could have seen it shoot flames. Nit sure I could replicate that if I tried. Glad two ppl saw it. The 370Z guy was thrilled to see it. The excitement was infectious when he was telling me about it.Love the story but doesn't flames coming out the exhaust mean you have unburnt fuel coming out, therefore running rich?

**** yeah. When I used to ride I went through a few bikes. First bike was a 04 GSXR600, second a 01 GSXR750. Sold both of them and got a 06 Yamaha R1..that bike scared me. But on the GSXR600 I once had a car hanging with me and I was like...wtf???This reminds me of earlier in the week I ran against a early 2000's r6, he couldn't get away from me and I couldn't pass him. When we got off the freeway we were both pretty amazed, I never thought in a million years I was gonna hang, all the dude on the bike could say was "The ****** is fast!" Though it was basically a tie, I'd call it a win in my book![]()

Double check but I think this is the part AA5Z-8A505-A engine coolant pipe.
That looks really good!Well today I finished up the intake manifold cleaned and ceramic it Black.
The second picture is a part I need it's the coolant tube that goes under the intake manifold. I can't find it anything I got a little anxious taking it out and I damaged it. Anybody have a part number or the actual name of this part?

I used to have a '07 GSXR 750. We would race random cars on the highway but it's really not racing because, who really stands a chance? One day I ran against a Fox body. No idea what all he had but it was loud. I beat him, but a second or so after I left off at 120ish he buzzed me. I guess I wasn't aware of my surroundings well enough (tunnel vision) or just assumed I had completely left him, but it scared me pretty bad.**** yeah. When I used to ride I went through a few bikes. Damn. I bet I was unsettling. Yeah I felt uncomfortable with the car so close to me when it happened to meI used to have a '07 GSXR 750. All I had on my 750 was a Yoshi header back, power commander, and air filter.Once you get into the 600 and 700 hp range in a car....most stock 600 and 750's really have to work for a W. You need to be in the 800 hp range to make a liter bike work for it. 900 to 1000 hp (with traction) it then becomes a toss up with a liter bike.
Also you always steal the hit against a bike.....ALWAYS.

And there were no wheelies for me at high speeds, lol. I could tack out 1st gear on the rear wheel but that was it. I had to power it up (throttle hard, let off, then throttle hard again) to stand it up. I never mastered dropping the clutch. I was always afraid I'd end up flipping it. Some of the guys I rode with would pass cars on curvy country roads on the back tire. I usually stayed near the back of the pack.
"There are those who have went down and those who are going down".... Or those who sold their pristine bike after having their first kid.
