I have been riding for 25 ish years now. I have been down quite a bit both down on the street and in the dirt.

Power wheelies are easy on liter bikes.....lol.

I'm due for another bike. Even the wife is itching (she had a CBR 600). Honestly my next bike will probably be a Harley. Chances are I'll inherit my Dad's soon since he's not really able to ride it much.

I have a 2003 RC51 in my garage that I have been working on....slowly. At this point I have not ambition to work on it it any faster...lol.

Let me know if you ever want to part ways with that rc51. I owned a vtr1000 for a while and loved my vtwin sportbike but I would love to own the fuel injected (and much faster) version if it lol.

Well today was a good productive day finally got the OEM IC out. Pushed the AC cooler in up against the radiator.
Now to get all the parts needed for the new IC.
Who knew fiberglass would be so easy to weld back together and it's pretty damn strong. The pieces I cut out i just welded them back in place..

Finished... pushed the AC cooler up against the radiator so it's nice and snug. Probably another inch more than i did yesterday. Secure the bottom have to ordered some radiator zip ties for the top of the AC cooler..
Ordered the IC two weeks ago but returned it because I didn't like the quality. Now waiting for the new cooler to come in next Thursday with all the tubes.
Here's some pictures of the finished part until the new IC comes in.

Holy shit that looks great! Looks like I may have to scrap my ****** little L brackets and just do this, then I can maybe move up to a 5 inch fmic core >.>

So, not "today", but over the last week or so, I've;

- Added a drain plug to the PTU. While it initially turned out to be a nightmare (with visions of having to order a new PTU), moving up to the next size proved to work swimmingly! ...thanks to everyone's helpful advice & guidance, along with a nice cheering section.

- While I was under the car, I removed the heat wrap from the pipes, and instead used Heatshield Products, Heatshield Armor. WOW! I will never use the wrap tape again! It's rated for higher temp protection and SUPER simple to install.

- ALSO, while I was under the car (with the wheels off), I ceramic coated my wheels.

While I'm a HUGE fan of ceramic coating, I recommend having it professionally done. Of course having said that, I plan on ceramic coating our Altima in a couple weeks. ...glutton for punishment, I guess.

Yep, I love ceramic coating as well. I have done my SHO twice. However both times, within a couple of weeks..my SHO was hit with back to back violent dust storms driving to California. Putting over 40 hours of work just to watch it get destroyed really miffed me. The coating did its job however and protected the paint.

Haaaa, yea they might not look like like much but they are built very sturdy. I wanted to be able to safely lift all four corners a minimum of 15 inches and in the picture it’s at 18 inches. I trust them a **** of a lot more than regular jack stands too.

I might not be able to see the whole thing, but from what I'm seeing on the stand on the driver side it doesn't appear that there's a diagonal cross brace. It could be possible that thing buckles. Sorry to sound like a gatekeeper to safety since you don't even know me. If you cut a piece of plywood to box in one side it would be bombproof though. Cheers.

Your right about adding some cross bracing for additional strength, and I have been thinking about cutting some 2x12’s do get it done. When I do actually get under the car though, I place a few real jack stands and a 3 ton jack under there as a precautionary measure. I know there’s no harm meant and I appreciate the concern. You can't tell from the pics, but last weekend I installed the Gearhead intercooler. Also bought the sct st tuner to use their tune. The car gets p0402 and P0403 codes now. GH can't fix it because I'm using LMS's catted downpipes? Is there a fix for this? Don't tell me to buy another set of pipes.
Put on the tires stickers for a car show that was canceled.
