Guys this has nothing to do with the motor this is my preference to do this. The motor is fine just a water pump started to leak.
This is my daily driver it's not like I've beating on it all the time like I don't give a shit. Yes I drive fast who doesn't end occasionally taking it up to 140 on I-80 no biggie.
I take care of my cars how you treat your car's how your car going to treat you.
My mechanic was going to pull the motor out to fix it so I decided just to get a low mileage motor.
I had the car for over 2 1/2 years and had not one single problem. Except for the OEM thermostat that may have caused the issue with the water pump 6 months ago. that was the OEM thermostat with 132k miles on it.
Now that I think about it if I change that thermostat when I got the car at 100k this would have never happened.
Before I got my car which I'm the second owner car was garage kept and never driven in the winter time. At 100k highway miles the previous owner drove over 2 hour to work and back.
So if you're reaching 90-100k miles for about 30 bucks change out that thermostat..
So what I'm doing or adding to the car besides a low mileage motor custom matching engine painted color & hydro dip. 70 mm throttle body with ported intake manifold, color matching valve covers, color matching Eliminator pipe, hot pipe, dual intake & filter box, front mount intercooler, Methanol injection kit, map 3 bar, cooler plugs, low Temp Thermostat, MSD coils, New ported exhaust manifolds with ported matching new turbos, EPP Ceramic downpipes into new polished exhaust system going through 1 x-pipe 2 cutouts 1 Muffler 1 x-pipe out to 3X9 oval black tips. I know I miss something somewhere. But That's about it in a nutshell.

Whew, and I breath a sigh of relief, lol, thanks! Thread after thread of blown motors...not gonna lie, I was beginning to get scared.

Okay today I tried something different to see if it works coming along nicely still working on it.
I wanted to see if I can use 2 different Graphics on the same item one on top of the other. First I put down monster image then laid the carbon fiber on top of the monster image. I wanted the image to show through the carbon fiber what you think..

Hit a flying rock, shattered my hood protector ... guess that is better than the windshield.

Got the hood protector replaced, got the same Aeroskin from AVS I had before. Got sore thumbs from peeling away the old tape.

Returned the car to stock, 2.5bar MAP sensor failed. Waiting for a revision for a 3 bar MAP. Thinking the heat from the engine caused premature failure, but can't be sure. I had my methanol line routed on the backside of the engine and that also failed due to heat, had to rerun the line through the front bumper. Some sort of center hood vent is in my future!

Wife and I just signed paperwork on a 30 x 36 x 11 metal building. I'm having the concrete poured with fiber reinforced 4000 PSI @ 5" thick. Gonna take a few years to recover from this one but the prices are pretty well rock bottom that I've ever seen.

I'll do the wall insulation (roof insulation is included), power, and plumbing as I can afford it. And hopefully one day I'll be able to install a lift. This should give me enough room that nothing motorized should ever have to sleep outside again. And I shouldn't have to do projects, etc so close to the SHO in the home garage.

Got the sound system all installed to find out the Soundstream amp is bad. The effing rca jack came out of the amp switched amps and got clean sound. The bright side is that after 17 years since my last still install i still have it and the Metra Axxess DSP is a nice plug and play piece if you do not want to cut wires.

What I like about this one is that it sits flush with no gap underneath.

Mine is tuxedo black. My paint is starting to fail and turn white on the edge of my hood right in the center. If this covers it, and I don't see it, I will be happy. I do have future plans to have the front clip fixed and have 802's splitter installed, It will be resprayed along with the hood.

I got one of these about 3 months ago I tell you what it covered up all them chips marks and the bumper is in the shop getting repainted car's white so it stands out pretty good.. I like it

Got my block and crank back from Holbrook Racing engines. I drilled and tapped the outers main holes from a m9 to the m10 to accept the Livernois/ARP hardware for the 2018 blocks. I Also drilled the outer main cap holes and windage tray holes to accommodate bigger stud hardware. Had the mains align line honed, crank journals polished and both hot washed. Cleeeeen

They do but they don't have a kit that they offer. I called them. They said "it's in development, should be out by the end of this year"

Livernois has kits that they spec'd from the ARP hardware catalog . I told them my bolt specs and year, and bought the LMS kit. I got the studs home and realized the outers didn't fit. (Though I told them the correct specs and year). I went back to exchange them and they told me they don't have the 9mm studs anymore.(grrrrrr). They told me to just use the inners and use factory outers. Much stronger than stock. But who wants to keep $150 worth of hardware that's not usable. So I drilled and tapped my block to fit.
