I've got the same car and I was thinking that wouldn't make a difference due to how dark the headlights already appear to be but that looks excellent. Pretty cold for that type of install!

Lil trick reference the bolts/fasteners for your plate (to prevent the rusting and de-lamination of the plate material).... find some plastic washers to place between the plate and the bolt itself.

That will help TREMENDOUSLY in keeping everything look'n like new.

Just a little hint/trick for 'ya.

Also, be sure NOT to crank down to ******* them bolts when the new plates arrive.

Between the plastic washers, and the above, those plates will remain pristine.

Got my stainless works cat back installed, still gotta fiddle with the position of the tailpipe tips to get them centered to my satisfaction. Switched over to royal purple hps with a k&n filter after reading enough recommendations on here (thanks guys!). Next oil change will be at 50,000 miles. Loving the exhaust. Started it from inside and things hanging from the wall on the second floor above the car were vibrating. The exhaust note is such a beautiful, heavy bass tone. Sweet spot at 2k-3k rpm. Really freed up the throttle response. Been a busy couple of days with her!

I turned the Battmobile over to my bride today because she says her new-to-us 2013 Explorer Sport smells! It was deodorized before we took delivery, I've had it deodorized twice, and I've even put some deodorizing wafers in it, but she says she still smells something. She got in it before it was deodorized the first time, and I think she has the smell stuck in her mind.

You need to ask when she smells it. This may uncover a problem and ultimatey the solution.

Change the cabin air filter and seat filters (if it has them). Get the carpets shampoo'd and cleaned with an extractor.

She says she smells it the most when it sits in the sun with no windows open, but I've been leaving the roof open all day when I'm at work this week. Dont know if the seat filters came with actual filter elements, could be something to check.

Just getting in after sitting in the sun. She says it smells like cigarette smoke, but nobody else smells it! All I have smelled is the stuff used to deodorize it. Gonna try placing a bowl of white vinegar in it overnight after I do a full cleaning and leather treatment this afternoon.

FWIW, I wonder if the smell is in the HVAC ducting. I once helped our local PD with a skunk smell. They sell a deodorizer that seems to work well. You would turn on the A/C (not on max) so that air is flowing in the car from the base of the windshield. Then, spray this deodorizer at the inlet. When you see the smoke coming out of the vents inside...you turn the car off and let it work.

^^In the fleet we use a Ozone machine ,and or, a mister if you can find a detail shop. Also, I'm not sure if it's applicable to our cars, but they make a product that you pour in the cowl area to **** mildew that can grow there. There's always also a chance that at some point there was a leak (sunroof) or the interior got wet and you have a bit of mildew under the carpet

Ford does have a microbe killer to spray 8n the HVAC plenum, but this he would smell when the blower motor turns on and goes away in a few seconds.

Finally got around to tinting the head and tail lights Gunsmoke for the head lights and smoke med dark for the tail lights

That looks sweet what product did you use?

Changed engine oil, PTU fluid and RDU fluid. Rotated the tires. Painted the calipers. I was kind of ticked off after doing the PTU. I was lucky if I got out 1 oz of old fluid. Used two different size hoses on my suction pump but to no avail, so I figured I would fill it and see how much was in there. Well to my surprise it took 14oz of fluid before it started to seep out of the hole which tells me I had only had around 4 oz in there vs the 18 required. I have had a harmonic vibration between 40 and 45 for awhile, after changing the fluid and rotating the tires I thought it would go away. Well it didn't. I have a sickening feeling I'm heading for a PTU failure. Needless to say it will be visiting the dealer since I only have 37k on it. On a side note the little bit of fluid I did get out was actually pretty clean and the magnet looked decent. RDU was a tad low, sucked it out and was able to get 32ish ounces back in.
