Decided to pull the trigger on a new pair of LED projector puddle lamps the other day.

These to replace my original set that I gutted open way back in 2010, and authored a "How-To" tutorial on how to retro the LED into the housing.

I couldn't resist these, as the projector portion casts the FORD oval/logo onto the ground below it. Looks really sharp.

The things that are being done in the lighting department never cease to amaze me. Cool stuff.

Installed them just now......

Any advice on pricing? I'm Online now and they're between $55-$70! Don't know if I want to replace my CREE LED puddle lights just to get a Ford logo out of it....??

Received my OBDII connected gauge today. Waiting on a pillar mount to arrive tomorrow. Not entirely cpnfident it'll work, but I have a couple backup plans. This one monitors about 10 or 12 different parameters. The readout is nice but it also has LEDs that move around the edge to resemble an analog gauge. Mostly kept it on the intake pressure page as I drove around today. Nice quality little gadget.

Very nice tool. If you don't mind saying where you picked it up. I'd like to know more about them, Thanks.

I did but I'm waiting on a different one. A-pillar one didn't fit well. Gonna try a dash mounted version this weekend.

Yeah I'm still waiting for my lady ask me why I needed it after she realizes it really doesn't *do* anything.

Took the Blizzak Snows off and Put the Conti DWS-06's on

Tossing the ideal of trading her in for a 2018 F150, Reason my 1993 F150 just bit the dust

Unsure which to go with 2.7 3.5 5.0 . either way it will get a tune

5.0 no question IMO, reliability, power, torque, maintenance is easier. I read a review, they asked 10 Ford mechanics if they were to buy an F-150 which engine would they choose, 8-2 chose 5.0. Good luck w/ your research.

I will miss her, She was good old Girl. If the 93 F150 had not had so many issues for insepection i would have kept her but had to be practical. Mybe the 2018 will last as long 25 years is a long time. will be 82 if she lasts, lol

Installed new front and rear door speakers. Can't beat the sound for the price and they really made a huge difference. At least the doors are out of the way now when I do the rest of the system :hi5:

Nice. Did you change the amp and/or add the processor?

Not yet. Down the road I'll be putting in my DSR1 and Rockford Fosgate 600w 5 channel amp. Honestly it's pretty loud as it is, I'll be upgrading more for quality than power.

Cool, mine sounds ok, but not great and not that loud. I don't want to drop $3K making it Mac daddy, but I'm curious if just adding nice 6.5s in the doors and good 6x9s in the rear deck would make a difference

Just changing out speakers definitely makes a huge difference. I'll be content for awhile which is good, now I can focus on saving for my Meth :dribble:
