But they are sending you to the perfect place to find the perfect gift!
Any ideals of shopping area? , know nothing about the area, other than I don't want to go, they dumped Missouri and Kansas on me
as terrorities as the svc rep there quit.

Unfortunately, I do not ... never having been anywhere near National Harbor other than to see the big wheel from the bridge. I would ask the concierge at Marriott, they should have an excellent idea.

The National Harbor has lots of shopping there... about 20 minutes around the beltway is Tyson’s Corner which has EVERYTHING but I’m sure the prices will scare you...

Driving, otherwise home to Chicago - Philly - national. Too many stops and I can drive and be home before the plane would have landed.

Ordered these from a vendor at World of Wheels. Got an outstanding price I couldn't refuse.

The Conti DWS's served me incredibly well, but since I no longer punish my SHO by subjecting it to the elements of old man winter, It's time to ditch the all season's and rock a set of dedicated performance tires.

I will report back my experiences at some point. Install is scheduled for 03/13/18.292b1fea1f1fed9345a82f33fb500818

Well, Tuesday's install appointment was rescheduled to this morning, due to a completely unexpected 3" of snow that raced down out of Canada.

So, got the Nitto's installed and quickly raced back home to put her back in the garage, as were expected to receive a dangerous ice storm tonight.

For the short, 35min drive home, I was pleased with how they handled. Quiet. Responsive. Felt great.

Tech that did the install noted one of banded style TPMS sensors was loose (the entire band) so he tightened that back up for me.

Tech also was kind enough to paint the wheel weights gloss black in advance of the install. What fk'n outstanding service I must say.

Company that performed install is called S&D Wheel, based out of St. Charles, IL.

This was the vendor who exhibited right next to me at this past weekend's 2018 Chicago World of Wheels event. You can see their display of aftermarket wheels/tires directly behind my SHO.

Mr. Jeffrey Lorden was not only a pleasure to speak with, but also was very knowledgeable and volunteered to personally handle my install himself.

Outstanding attention to detail and couldn't have been happier. Extended me a great price to boot!

Their facility was/is HUGE! They are behind several brand name aftermarket wheels, LED light bars, and deal with most major tire brand mfg'ers. Please check out their site below for more info. Top notch all the way around!

I'll manage more pics hopefully on Sunday, when temps rise to the mid 50's. Happy weekend everyone.Bd074dd9ec47cd5040639be2d42a4f637b9560672b38407522ee3dda5f2fcd1d

Gave her a quick bath.

But more importantly, removed all the old adhesive from the previously positioned wheel weights on each rim, and cleaned up the brand new Nitto NT555 G2's today......

Not too shabby. I'm dig'n these new Nitto's.De80e07868aba8e760c65f171f67a0fa278988a799ce775944d9e60bb6ae4ca1E8b92bc9c1d478cd0a718c60e5a7043f57b7b14b0ad6a09c44f5c673b70e8caf94093ff346c77023eff3c5b91fd1dfea

Just a fun little FYI.

If your 4 wheel vehicle dealership does not have black painted wheel weights, just lead or grey colored weights, stop by a motorcycle shop. Most use black stick-on becase it is more cost effective than having a whole bunch of other O.E.M specific weights. Buy the 1/4 oz increment ones if they have them. You can ask about 1/2 oz increments too.

I think I'll have mine reballancwd becase the dealership used grey weights on my wheels too. UGLY!
