Besides pressing the button... carefully fluctuating the throttle... there were a couple times where the traction control got in the way.. but once I was able to feel that line between TC kicking my ass and being able to ride that curve it wasn't bad. My buddy has or had a video of it from his phone.. Ill see if I can get it.. we were just having fun.
Pressing the button turns off traction control but stability control stays on. Traction control allows tire spin on a straight line but once the car detects sliding sideways kills power. PP cars can turn of TC and SC but the non-PP only allow TC off and SC on. When I tried anything that amounted to basic donuts would result in killing the engine. I could get going straight and momentum slide it until it stopped. But trying to actually do any real sustained donuts didn't work with the stability control and it makes me sad.

Gotcha, I am just used to calling anything that cuts power traction control. I can't sustain a doughnut, I did try that in the snow. But getting the momentum up, then pulling her sideways and milking the throttle will sustain a good power slide.. in the snow.. with some ice underneath probably.

I 100% agree on the crappyness that is inability to actually turn off all the nannies on the non-pp... I run into that a bit just spirited driving with TC off.... makes me a sad panda...

Getting my buddy to fabricate me stainless steeld ownpipes for $200 in materials this week, makes me a happy panda! That I will post some pictures... although I can't vouch for how pretty his welding will look.... lol

Looks good. I'm glad you did this as I've been trying to visualize the results for some time. I've also run across all chrome and black chrome done to these wheels but haven't seen them on a car.

I've been looking as well. Would like to see the flowers in gloss black or black chrome. I will be powder coating mine this winter one of those two finishes.

462f389e93fca4f80a0513a669e79c9c thru the intake at idle of a hot engine. 15second spray. Then shut the engine down. I've done 7 applications. In 3days. Bore scoped the intake and there's little deposits and what's there is very very soft. I'm wondering if the boosted airflow will erode away the remaining softened deposits.

Did you put this in the intake as in right after the filter? Or before the throttle body?

And how spread out were your 7 applications?

Thank you!

One of my 50 watt 5500K HID bulbs burnt out, had to put the stock halogens back in for now... Just ordered the Morimoto XB 6500K bulbs from the retrofit source! The more blueish tint should go better with my blue wheels

New tune with downpipes is amazing. Can't wait to see what Torrie can do with a few datalogs. Also added a new M-design intake today. And an ecobeast battery tie down.

Well, I'm all for some nice looking parts as well. The battery tie down is really well done.

Does the MD allow quick access to the tranny dip stick? That alone might be worth switching my Airaid for....

The downpipes made a huge difference. Completely different animal now.....the intake, I had a k&n on it because I got it for 100 bucks. I'd say it's definitely better then the old. But not as drastic as some people claim.
