Rod bearings and valve gapping job needed

I live just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I need my rod bearings changed and the valve gapping job done within the next couple of weeks or basically as soon as possible. Is there anyone around my area that would like to do this for me? I'll give you a hand also. Just give me your price for doing it. I can drive to your house or I could even give you a room in my house to sleep in for the night. Thanks.

I am not in a position to come to PA to help you, but you should read the "New Thread Guideline" at the top of this section regarding the post title. You can edit and change the title to possibly get more members to view your post. Select the "edit" icon that is the second from the right at the top of the post that looks like a pencil on a sheet of paper.

Why do you need these services done "as soon as possible?" Got noises? What and where?

I am going away to college very soon and would like to take care of the bearings. I have had a noise at startup ever since i bought my car and i'm positive it is the rod bearings. They need replacing. There is a thud sound while idling that will come in and out and i'm sure that is a shim being out of spec. I have done all of the maintence on my car and my brother and I are just too busy right now to do these 2 jobs. Would anyone care to give us a hand? Thanks.
