I just replaced my rod bearings today and thought I would post pics of their condition as they seem extremely healthy (no copper showing anywhere) compared to others I have seen on the forum. As far as I know they have never been done and the car is a 91 with just over 100,000. Also the stamping on them is D0E which from what I have found would indicate that the bearings are from May of 1990, making them the originals. I plasti-guaged just one as I was installing the new ones, and it was just under .002".

They look a heck of alot better than the ones I just pulled out of my car at 101k. All but one of mine had some copper showing, with some worse than others. I had one that was on the verge of failure, I sure am glad I decided to do them when I did.
