I ordered a set Tuesday AM, am hoping they arrive Friday AM, otherwise will not be able to run my car at the NESHOC autox on Saturday - they said they were on the way from Oklahoma.

Anyone in CT have a set? Looks like pan gaskets are special order as well. Do you need the oil pump pickup gasket or is it reusable?

Reminder to self - shift up next time if it doubt

pan gasket shouldnt be a problem...any parts store should be able to get them in Fel pro within a day....Im surpirsed NAPA didnt give you the option to overnight them...they are usually pretty good about their shipment times...

you can order them through RCM if naps doesnt work out. RCM gets stuff out really fast, at least in my experience they have for me.:thumb:

Ya, ordered from RCM last weekend, told him I needed parts for thursday, and if he needed to ship differently to get them there on Thursday to charge me accordingly. No charge, no email, nothing. Thursday comes and goes, and then Friday comes. Package arrives in the afternoon, postmarked for WEDNESDAY....

I was about ready to call Kirk and drive a beater up there . . . but Russ at RCM agreed to overnight USPS a kit, which is at my post office right now. Cost $13 extra which I did not mind paying.

I did tell the counter guy at NAPA that I had a race this Saturday, he did not indicate any overnight shipping was possible. Need a second set of bearings and gaskets for the 3.2 anyhow, its time it went in.

Hey, I spun this bearing after < 20 seconds (in several intervals) on the rev limiter at the last event. Kicker was I was using SM rated oil . . . never again. Was also using the smaller filter. Only 92 K miles . . . and fresh oil

92k miles? My first spin was 74k IIRC. 105k on another, both 95's BTW.

Had a beer w/ Jeff Seeger last night, he mentioned you'd done bearings the night before an Auto-X...

Friendly ribbing here:
Did you use Moly ****? If so, did you change the filter after running for awhile (before the Auto-x), before winding up to redline? :)
