As always, a great time was had by all caravanees to and from this year's convention.
We only had one casualty: The transmission on Heather's '99 retired less than 120 miles from the convention and we swapped her car on to the trailer and street rubber on to Kirk's race car for the rest of the trip. By the end of the convention her tranny was rebuilt and ready for the uneventful drive home.
Wherever next year's convention ends up being (and I'm operating under the presumption that it won't be in New England), we'll caravan again, and just like this year we won't start planning it until a few weeks beforehand (although I'm sure I'll have more than one opportunity to point people to this post in January when they start asking about a caravan!).
Thanks to all who caravanned with us along the way as well as those who made this year's convention a great time!
