Anyone try this in the 3.5 EB?

CERA TEC is popular in the Mercedes world (just added a treatment to my AMG) and also has some success stories in the Mustang world.

Combined with Liqui Moly 5W40, the treatment noticeably and immediately quieted down the valve-train on my M156 V8 (wasn't loud before, but now almost silent). Thankfully no ticking or issues on my SHO, so just considering this as a preventive measure.

For reference, my SHO is tuned and I switched to Castrol Magnatec 5W30 (the updated full synthetic formula) after a 1500 mile break in, changed every 5K miles.

I'd read up on it at Bob Is The Oil Guy. I am a pretty big skeptic when it comes to additives and miracle cures, etc, but...

This is the good stuff (LOL):Il 1588xN1366564646 cm6c

Seriously though, they (CERA TEC) start to lose me when claiming it lasts for 50,000 miles, despite oil changes. Inside an internal combustion engine?

Some of the guys with 5.0 Mustangs have had a "tick" noise in their engines that Ford says is normal but no one seems to know what causes it. Virtually everyone who put Ceratec in their engines immediately had the tick noise go away. I don't think anyone has gone 50,000 miles yet but the stuff seems to work in terms of reduced friction and engine noise.
