I meant charge cooling... cooling the intake. If you open track the car, you'll need both charge cooling and overall cooling. Oil cooling is not a bad idea either. Even though Pat is running 15psi, it is more like 12-13psi here. Spending 30 minutes above 5k rpm calls for adequate cooling.... For the street, you're right.SuperchargedSHOguy said:Oh, blaming it on the elevation now![]()
J/K see theres one of the differences why I posted what I posted. Here in lower elevation we do not feel these ill effects at 10+ psi

Also, there's a company that's called Reichard Racing that offers a slip free pulley for vortech S/C's in 6 rib models. Worth looking into

yamahaSHO said:That's an expensive pulley, I may try and do my own grooves...
yamahaSHO said:Are you using a Gatorback? A Gatorback should work really well with that. Even better is that the Gatorback has a lifetime warranty, who cares if it is chewed up. As long as you can provide the worn/broken belt, they'll replace it! I'll see if I can make my own grooves and see how it works out... If it does not work like I hope, I'll break down and spend the money on the really expensive one.
Thanks!
EDIT: What size pulley is that? How much boost are you running?
