For comparison sake it is good to use the same dyno. I know there used to be one down by jefferson point, but he got rid of his. I like the one up here cause its less than I've paid in the past (somewhere in the $60-$75 range for 3 pulls with A/f) and also its only 5 minutes from my house. On most occasions I can just show up and get my pulls done.

There is also the one on West Jefferson, and I'm not sure what they would want.

Oh yea, thats why I like the idea of getting some done up there now. Where exactally is this place anyway? I got the night off last night and decided to drive around Auburn on my way back home. But didn't come across speed shop looking place... :)

I did however come across a place I haven't been to in a while...

In theory, and all things being equal, you want to shift when the engine torque at your current rpm multiplied by your current gear ratio is equal to what the engine torque would be in the next highest gear at that speed and associated rpm. The idea is to maximize the torque at the wheels. Most cars torque curves don't fall off fast enough for this to happen, so you shift at the redline.

I didn't say that. When I am going WOT, I am shifting at 7k. Its probably Bubba telling you that out of the ATX mind of his.

See Boat and Bubba tell me I'm crazy for shifting at 6300.. lol It just feels right to me...

And I just now started remodeling that WalMart in your little city there... still waiting on a paycheck.. lol ;) But definately I want to get a few of us on the same dyno so we can have a good idea of not only our own cars, but also the dyno if one of us goes to another around here. There is also the one on West Jefferson, and I'm not sure what they would want.
