i recently replaced a coolant hose located between the engine and firewall that was leaking..

the Z shaped hose that has metal 4/5'ths of the way and then rubber crimped on the engine end and a sensor in the middle.

anyways i had a heck of a time getting the bolts out that mount that puppy to the engine (13mm bolts used on my 94 engine vs 12mm on my parts engine didnt help) so i didnt replace them when reinstalling.

i am still experiencing slight loss of coolant now and was wondering if these bolt holes in the block may access the coolant lines somehow? i remember my front accessory belt pully mount holes accessed oil lines and caused oil seepage when not replaced.

it could just be that i didnt fasten the sensor back on tight enough, and didnt have the tape to seal threads so just used loctite..

or it could be a leak elsewhere in the system i guess.

Theose are "blind" holes. No coolant there. You need to remove the sensor and use teflon tape, or pipe dope. This will take care of your leak if it's at the sensor.
