Hey Gary... you said that they at one point at the 2 core (2") model... would you happen to have that part number handy?

I thought all the SHO's had the same radiator, is the ATX's radiator that different from the rest...that it isn't listed?

Crap this credit card keeps falling outta my pocket on the keyboard here... lol $120 huh... thats pretty damn sexy for $120...

Tanks look a bit larger too... are those two fittings plugs on there? I would assume you could just find tap plugs for those?

I forgot to mention that I looked around on the internet and found a coupon code to get a couple bucks off.

The fittings are adapters. No idea what the threads are. Won't be using them.

Let us know how that fits Kelvin.

Doesn't it look like I'll get it in for a couple weeks now. Working too much. :frown:

Dang! Look good! so its two row core?
Single core. I ordered the 3.8l one, hoping it would be a two row, but it's not. Don't know what the difference is in the listed part numbers.

They are the same as far as replacements are concerned. The ATX pumps trans fluid through the radiator, and this one has provisions for that.

You don't still happen to have that coupon code do ya? I keep finding expired ones online... noticed a little steam from under the hood today.... so its definately about that time for me.

Did we ever confirm if there was a HD or triple core radiator? Or just this one?

I called a couple of weeks ago, it's just that one. Stock is a 2 row, (single core) radiator which is what they sell.

There used to be a dual core model, but apparently it's discontinued.

Im thinking that having aluminum end tanks almost equals the cooling power of another row.. lol Just curious tho... I noticed you said you would call.. kinda figured it was just the one since you didn't update.

Anyone seen the drain fitting on this one? I can't seem to crack it by hand... makes me nervous being aluminum if I have to put some channel locks on it I would worry about how strong those aluminum welds are.. ?? Looks like cheap brass peice.. can't say I've seen one like it before...

I have the same sort of petcock and plug on my Civic aluminium radiator,it works just fine.
Those tanks and tig welds are very strong, channel lock away.

So, there are no issues with the filler neck being angled like that? I wonder why they made them that way.

I'm not thinking of anything specific really. I just found it a little odd that they would angle it like that.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and order one. I have a bunch of hoses to put in this spring, so I might as well do the rad while I'm in there. It'll give me a chance to blow out the a/c condenser, too.

I put the Advance radiator in my 94 MTX four yrs ago, absolutely no problems and I beat the balls off of my automobiles! Highly recommended. However, just as a preventative measure, I also did belts and hoses as well.
