I went through a drive-through car wash, and now my fan won't turn off. If I hit off, it blows on high through the defroster vents. Vent blows through vent, but without being able to adjust the fan speed.

Nothing under the hood appears to be wet at all. What am I missing?

Most likely its your blower control module malfunctioning. They tend to malfunction in high humidity / high moisture conditions. Yours might go back to normal after it dries out but if it doesn't you'll probably have to replace the part.

Mine did that the other day after the snow we had. After everything dried out it went back to normal.

drdave,

Is your A/C working? Given the sultry Texas climate this time of year you may be better off leaving the fan alone!!! :D :D rangerj :p
