Looking good. You can never be too careful. Now you can get an idea of where to start to keep up with maintenance.

upper and front 60k was done 12000 mi. ago as well as suspension all around,

wouldnt know it to look at it though,

these were mine on a 151k 3.0 MTX

I gotta do the mains and rods on my 3.2 VERY soon as she's making some noise

about burning oil... I burn about 3 quarts since I've done the swap with less then 3k miles... but my cam seal is leaking as well so I don't know how much of that really got burned and how much leaked out....... atleast prior owner told me about oil burning problem... and its not really a problem to me.... just the people behind it

Ive definitely seen worse. I'm also in minnesota though. some of that could be fixed, quarter would prob need new metal, nothin too crazy though.

Edit: i wonder how it looks under the plastic, if the doors are rotten and the rockers it could turn into a task.

no reason anyone cant do their own bearings... dont think about it just do it... there has been way to many SHO engines going to waste because of people not wanting to do it..
its much easier to change rod bearings then it is to change the whole engine and replace a ton of crap along the way.
dont use it as a excuse for a 3.2 swap either..
i still have 2 of my 3.0s im keeping.

no excuses change the bearings and get the piece of mind.

you change your oil and brakes then change your bearings.

dis-a-PROVED !!!

Okay, you can no longer hide behind the "my car's in California and I'm in Japan . . . " excuse. Get some tools (or find the ones packed-away in your household goods shipment), grow a pair (no, not fuzzy dice), and learn how to work on your own SHO.

I may be asking for your assistance come september to do mine... If your up for it. :)
