Those are some good looking tail lights if i do say so myself.
You know you want to. . . .
Been there, done that:Wanna make some good looking tailights?
Tint them.

Now for the vacuum/pressure, I have an industrial vacuum pump at work that would work really well, just not a tank. On the site though they use pressure for the forming, and vacuum to form the mold. So I think both would be needed. Pressure is easy though.
LEDs in the tails light up much faster than incandescents, giving much better reaction time to those behind you. They also run much less current, which generates much less heat, and they last orders of magnitude longer. How many spoiler LED bulbs have gone out on you? the total is zero for me, and that's with 3 14-year old cars. I don't even want to think about how many times I've had to replace those stupid tail light bulbs...
Im with this... guy. I think its cool they use next to no power, and they light up instantly. But, i have had my led spoiler light go out, and its a PITA. But i think that was mostly just ford, and leds where experimental back than??(kinda newer to them, didnt really have a BEST ideas on how to wire them and design?) Ok ...i just made absolutely no sense. TheLEDs in the tails light up much faster than incandescents, giving much better reaction time to those behind you.
