What is the latest/most recent version they released? I know their reputation has really plummeted, but I don't care to spend money on a new device at the moment. I've been running V10 91 octane for a few years and would like to update that to something better now that I've had the timing chain/pump replacement done.

Last I heard was V20. That is what I am running now (installed July 2021.)

I say just Shoot ‘em an email! Odds are id still be on livernois if their device could be married to more than once. SHO now runs AJP E30 and is very happy. First one had a catastrophic engine failure on their v11 in cold weather. Mechanic said a big chunk was missing out of the piston and the boost pressure blew the seals On both turbos and sent oil all throughout the exhaust. All the above had to be replaced

Sorry to hear about your issues. I did send them an email earlier. I went and pulled the strategy and serial number off the device a few minutes ago. I assume they'll want that if/when they get back to me.

They’ll definitely get back to you, and even should have ur strategy on file already. Should just need the serial #. Tunes are updated via their PC app then u just have to plug in ur tuning device and download it from the app like before. How’s v10 been treating you?

V10 was ok, but it did have a couple of hiccups where the car would puke on itself at the top of second. I "think" it made decent power, though, as the last week or so of driving around stock feels pretty slow in comparison to tuned.

Imo cut your losses and move to a sct tuner. Cheaper than a motor or trans. And your car will shift out to ne next gear.
Fellows, I get that. When I first bought this car, LMS was pretty much the best/only option for tuning. I've been off of work for nearly 3 years helping take care of my Dad who is in late stage Parkinson's. I really don't want to drop another $500, or whatever, to get a new device and tune right now. Not to mention that I got royally hosed on the timing chain/water pump/phasers replacement.

I really don't beat on my car much, if at all. But I do like 450 hp vs. 365, or whatever LMS claims. The V10 tune I was running was a nice/noticeable difference over stock. If they don't want to send me a new tune I'll probably just reload the V10. It didn't break anything on my car in the 40k miles it was loaded.

WHEN I get back to work, I'll upgrade to Gearhead, or whoever the hot tuner is at that time. For now, I have the LMS device and will give a new version of their tune a shot.

Thanks for the input.

The V20 tune is definitely better than the V11... that was a POS. You, fortunately, never had to experience that version. V20 was a major upgrade in my car, since it updated the strategy code as well as the tune. Your car may be different. Whether it feels quicker, or provides more power (nowhere near 450 hp), will depend on many factors. Since you can't send log files you are limited by the canned aspect of the tune. If you choose to upgrade to V20, and don't like it, I doubt they will give you the option to go back to V10. If you're satisfied with V10 then stick with it until these freaks on this forum talk you into upgrading to bigger intercooler, bigger turbos, bigger HPFP, nitrous, E30, etc... :burnout:

Sorry to hear about your dad. I'd definitely shoot them an email and ask about the changes. Unfortunately it sounds like you have the old MyCal handheld so there's no datalogging function to verify everything, but just take it easy at first and if you feel anything off, let them know.

Best wishes to you and your father in these tough times. actually had the same issue as you with both the 1-2 shift and 2-3 on my '15. Livernois hooked it up with a soft(er) shifting tune that mostly resolved the issue with missed shifts

Loaded V20, 91 octane tune and took it for a quick spin. Shifts are definitely a bit harsh. It feels strong, though. Chirps the tires in first and going into second.

My 2011 13 second 1/4 mile SHO chirped the tires with the LMS tune going into 2nd gear and I thought the same thing as you, man this thing has some power!

My 2015 12 second flat 1/4 mile SHO with gearhead tune never chirps the tires going into 2nd. Slamming it into 2nd gear is a great way to fool the butt dyno as I learned once I got a dragy and learned how to look at data logs.

Ya I put mine on the dyno with the v11 and 1500 cc of meth and there meth tune 375 hp. AJP tune on the same setup with 1/3 of the meth 415 hp and 80 ftlb more trq to the wheels. Shifting is seamless with AJP and will knock your teeth out with lms.

You are right on AJP shifts. I run his E30 tune and man, the tranny just cruising shifts soft and seamlessly. Punch it and the shifts are quick but no jolt or feeling I'm breaking the tranny. GH and Brad, best in the game for making the trans shift the way it should have been from the factory.
