OZ, you started this. Some of these guys are going to bust a gut if they don't get some more info on this. You better call him up and ask him to post about it.

Heh, I used to own a Supercoupe with an Eaton M90 on it. I remember I was parting the car out when I first got my SHO and I kept looking at the top of the SHO motor and thinking that if you replaced the intake manifold, the Eaton would fit perfectly on top of the motor an probably still clear the stock hood. All you need to do the project is probably this...

- Eaton M90 & bypass plenum
- T-bird I/C or Starion I/C & some pipes, joints, & clamps
- Fabricate Custom Crank pulley or find one that will work
- Replace the upper and lower manifolds w/the ones from the T-bird
- Upgrade injectors & fuel pump
- Get ECU re-programmed

It's a little bit more than $400, but not by much.

I wouldn't get too excited about it for 400 dollars. If a system was put together for that kind of cash there has to be many many hours of work and custom fab work to be done. I bet 99% of people couldn't do. And If you paid someone to do it you wouldn't save too much. Just my two cents.

It's definitely not necessary to put the Eaton on top of the motor. It can be put on the side of the block where the AC compressor sits. As long as the v-belt lines up with the exiisting belt track, you should be good to go. That is the dilemma I had when trying to decide on a turbo charger or super charger for The Other Woman. I just can't dump the intake snakes. That's what makes this motor so unique. And if you're worried about not having AC, you don't deserve to have a blown SHO. IMHO

Good i was gonna ditch the ac anyways....
So basically, you would have it mounted, to where you can run an intake pipe from the bottom port, to the TB? then the intake for the S/C would be over were the battery used to be?
i was thinking of mounting it right in front of the motor, runing a platform from the front crossmember, having the s/c sitting there. then run the intake piping over to the TB.
and then of course all the other stuff..... from there it shouldnt be too difficult.Fabbing is the hardest thing i think... but thats my opinion.....
An eaton s/c doesnt need oil lines right?

Run a turbo, keep the A.C., the battery in stock location, ect...as far as the fabbing goes it yould be alot easier to modify the exaust than start ripping into the front of the motor, pulling off accessories like the a.c. Turboing a car really is not that hard if are a DIYer with basic FI knowledge. But if I was to fab on a S/C I would use a paxton novi :evil_gri:

I picked up mine on E-bay for 299.00. It came with the throttle body, TPS, intercooler, and all the piping. Of course I can't USE anything except for the compressor, but I can sell the rest. (like THAT is ever going to happen).
