Window issue

Well my windows are given me some touble.

I can put them down, BUT... some times they will go up if i put it up right away(just after i put them down)

But after their down for a while i cant put them back up.

I have to restart the car, and they move a few inches, restart it again move up a littel more, adn so on until the windows are up...

Any ideas

sounds like your motors are dying... you may need to replace them.

both windows are doing it, and they dont seem unpowerful, seems more like some electrical short, IDK

Electrical short will blow a fuse.

Probably the gears are all rusted up and the motor does not have enough power to raise the window due to fighting friction and gravity.

I dont think its a fuse b/c it will work every so often, and it hasnt just stopped totally, i just have to restart a bucnh of times,

But whats weird is that it does it with all the windows, they cant all of a sudden be rusty and decide not to go up???

Im leaning towards sometype of short or bad connection, i just dont know where to start...

Any more ideas, just did it again last night.
This time i had the lights on and noticed they dimmend then i heard some electrical noise.
After hearing all of this i thought the windows wouldnt work, sure enough, i tried and they wouldnt go down.

Where should i look? this happens night or day, hot/cold, to all the windows.
