A guy I know is selling an Ohio Generator alternator made for his 92 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Seeing as I have a 92 SHO & I heard that those alts were made by Mitsu, I'm thinking it may work. ANy educated guesses out there?

If it's a 90 amp alternator then functionally it would work providing the pulley is correct. I think fitment is going to be your issue though. Hard to tell without a photo or part number.

the altenator in the atx is a standard mitsubishi...when I handed my dead altenator to a local shop, he pulled a brand new unit off the shelf and soldit to me...

Damn I wish they had just pulled an alternator off the shelf for me... $150 later for a reman. and it'll be in Tues. 130 amp alternator for the 94-95's. I would've done a rebuild but I'm just to impatient to have my daily driver down. Good luck finding a replacement.
